March 25, 2018
Golden Valley High School, Canyon Country, CA
GO Jazz Band 1 at GVHS Theater
The concert was held at the 500 seat ‘state-of-the-art’ GVHS Theater.
Also in attendance was Latin jazz pianist/composer/bandleader Oscar Hernandez, a 3-time Grammy winner with the “Spanish Harlem Orchestra”.
Music Moves President, Kurt Wilson stated; “The GVHS Jazz Band 1 are fantastic student musicians and all of them have a promising career in music”.
Wilson went on to say: “I have seen the GO Jazz Big Band a couple of years ago and forgot how amazingly good they are, not surprising though since the band members are a mix of studio sessionists as well Band Directors for several Santa Clarita school music programs”.
